O objetivo desta foto é mostrar o tamanho da área de apoio, comparada com o círculo de pedras em si, no fundo à esquerda. Aqui ficavam ambulâncias, posto policial e de atendimento médico, imprensa, caminhões de equipamentos tipo iluminação, banheiros químicos etc.
This picture is to show how big is the support area, compared to the stone circle itself (in the background to the left). Here were ambulances, medical assistance, police, press, chemical toilets and tons of trucks of stuff, lights for example.

Atendendo a pedidos, aqui vão fotos batidas 5 anos depois das anteriores, no Solsticio de Verão de 2010. Desta vez, com uma câmera decente e duas boas lentes, mais muitos giga de memória, pude registrar mais coisas. Me pareceu ter mais gente também, embora a BBC tenha contabilizado 20.000 pessoas, o mesmo número de 2005. Segundo a reportagem, foi o ano mais tranquilo da celebração. Apenas 34 ocorrências de pessoas detidas por uso/porte de drogas leves e meros bebuns.Devo acrescentar que um destes era amigo meu, mas foi rapidamente liberado sem maiores traumas, só o susto.

Granting my readers’ wishes, I publish photos taken 5 years after the previous posted. This time I had a proper camera, two good lenses and tons of memory, so I was able to register more stuff. I believe there were more people, although the BBC estimated 20.000 revellers, just like in 2005. According to the press, this was one of the safest issue of the celebration in many years. Only 34 people were arrested for minor drug offences. I should add that one of these was a friend of mine, but he was quickly released with no injuries but a strong fright.

As pessoas estavam muito mais produzidas. Múltiplas tribos, e quantidade de grupos espirituais distintos em perfeita harmonia.
Most people were dressed up to the event. Assorted folk and distinguished spiritual groups in perfect harmony.

Este ano apareceu a estátua gigante de um ídolo feio pra caramba, na certa trazido por algum grupo espiritual, mas ninguém soube me dizer do que se tratava.
There was this massive disgusting idol, probably brought by some spiritual group, but nobody could tell me what it was about.

Estas fotos foram batidas entre dez e meia/ onze da noite. A lua quase cheia já se apresentava, seguiu-se o por do sol. Aguardem o próximo post, com as melhores fotos, este já está travando.
