Escavação em Vindolanda Roman Fort – excavation
Antes de prosseguir meu caminho, fui conferir o Café que se localiza mais adiante da área em escavação.
Before taking the road again, I checked over the Coffee Shop a few yards ahead of the excavation area.

Às seis da tarde o lugar fecha, então retornei à estrada principal. Uma milha depois do Once Brewed fica o Twice Brewed Inn, onde eu tinha reserva. Alguns voluntários da escavação também estavam hospedados ali.
Vindolanda closes at 6 pm, so I returned to the main road. One mile ahead of the Once Brewed stands the Twice Brewed Inn, where I had booked a night. Some of the excavation volunteers were staying there too.
Twice Brewed Inn, a place I’d definitely reccomend. / Gostei muito do lugar, recomendo.
Depois de caminhar o dia todo, estava louca por uma boa pint de cerveja produzida na região! / After being walking the whole day, I was ready for a good pint of local beer.

O Once Brewed é um albergue da juventude e o Centro de Visitantes do Parque Nacional de Northumberland. O Twice Brewed é chamado assim, segundo me contaram lá, porque há muito tempo atrás a cerveja ali produzida era tão rala que tinha que ser fermentada duas vezes. Mas atualmente é muito boa!
Escolhi a Twice Brewed Smooth e não me arrependi./
The Twice Brewed Smooth was my choice, and I didn’t regret it.
The Once Brewed is a youth hostel and visitor centre to the Northumberland National Park. The Twice Brewed got its name, as I was told, because ages ago the beer produced there was so weak that it had to be brewed twice. But nowadays it’s very good!
