O sítio arqueológico fica a cinco minutos de caminhada da cidade. / The English Heritage site is a five minutes walk from the city.

O sítio arqueológico ocupa 1,8 hectares, sendo apenas uma pequena fração – o núcleo central – da cidade romana que se ergueu em volta de uma sucessão de fortes. /The exposed English Heritage site (about 1.8 hectares) represents only a tiny fraction – the central nucleus – of the Roman town built around the site of successive forts.

Construído com pedras enormes, perfeitamente assentadas sem argamassa. Alvenaria da melhor qualidade / Built of massive, tightly fitting blocks without any use of mortar. The masonry is of high quality.
